Okay, the picture is gone and will be replaced by a new one in the next month. A friend, who knows how to punch buttons on a camera, told me - you need a new pic - one which shows you as you are - not structured. I have no idea what she'll want me to do, within reason of course, so check out this area next month.

Patricia was raised in Lakeland, Florida with orange blossoms and grapefruit trees as a fence for her backyard. 

In the mid 1980's she began writing and put together several of her poems in a chapbook, All about Life. Her other poetry,  essays, short stories have been published on line, in magazines, newspapers and anthologies.

Patricia has participated in creative writing classes at Callonwolde, Evening at Emory, Wildacres, Georgia Perimeter College, Winter Poetry & Prose , Harriett Austin Writers Conferences and The Paris Writers Workshop .

She was a speaker at the November 2009 Scribblers Retreat & Writing Conference where she presented "Of Course, You Can Write." She also gave information on Networking for Writers and Critique Groups at the Spring Book Show in Atlanta in 2011.

She is a member of The Atlanta Writers Club and past Board P/R. She is also a member of Romance Writers of America and the Georgia Romance Writers. She received her Certificate of Creative Writing from Kennesaw State University.

Patricia has received her accreditation as a SilverSneakers Instructor and has classes in MSROM, Cardio and Yoga Stretch. She received training for Cardio Fit, and now has a Cardio Fit class for her energetic seniors.  She also does Chair Dancing  and Aerobics for Senior Citizens at Retirement/Assisted Living Centers.

She resides in Atlanta, Georgia and is busy on her next two novels.
